In this series, the block of ice represents consciousness—a temporary space in which our desires, memories, and attachments are held. Each familiar object encased within the ice represents something we pursue, value, or allow to define us. Suspended and preserved, these objects appear permanent, yet the ice surrounding them is inherently temporary. As it melts, what seemed protected is eventually released, altered, or lost. The work reflects on desire, time, impermanence, and the fragile nature of what we choose to value.
